Popeye and Olive Oil Costumes
Cartoon characters provide a gold mine of ideas for a costume party.
Popeye and Olive Oil are a great choice for a cartoon classic. All you need for Olive is a dress that resembles her own. A simple sailor suit, blue pants, black shirt, with a bandana will work for Popeye. Accessories such as a pipe and sailor hat will add to the costume.
Superman and Supergirl Costumes
For super heroes, what could be better than Superman and Supergirl. Another popular choice that you can find at a costume store, or endeavor to create yourself. It requires no more than the suit itself, unless you want to pick up a nice wig.
The Nightmare Before Christmas Costumes
Want something more current? How about 'The Nightmare Before Christmas.' These costumes are more complex and may require more help from the costume shop, especially for Jack's head. For Sally you will need to add convincing makeup. Dark shadows and stitches to complete the effect.
