Transcript:Dramatic Pencil Eyeliner Trick

My name is Rebecca Garcia. I'm New York City based makeup artist here for about.com and I'm here to show you some unique eyeliner tips.

Prep the Face

So, what we're going to need today is our rosewater glycerine, fun eye shadow, a sharp eyeliner brush, that's slanted on the tip. And a black eyeliner pencil. We're going to start by using a few drops of our rosewater tonic, and we're going to spray that into the top of the lid. And we're going to dip our eyeliner brush into here and build up some color onto the brush. Now, we're going to start from the inner eyelid and bring out the line for a pop of color.

Apply the Liner

We're giving her a little bit of a cat eye. When we're using color this bright and this bold, we're going for drama. Start from the center and bring the color out in a straight line just right past the eyelash. Now, we're going to allow this to dry and set for just a few moments.

Complete the Dramatic Eyeliner Look

Now we're going to take our black eye pencil, make sure it's nice and sharp on the tip and we're just going to go right down into the lash line. Just so that her eyes don't disappear into the color. Still like to have a nice dark frame around the eyelashes. Okay, open your eyes.
