Hi, I'm Stephanie Gallagher and today we're making peanut butter blossoms. Let's get started.

Ingredients for Peanut Butter Blossoms

For this recipe, you'll need:

• 48 Hershey kisses - dark chocolate, milk chocolate, whatever you like
• 1-3/4 cup flour
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• 1/2 cup butter, softened to room temperature
• 1/2 cup firmly-packed brown sugar
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
• 1 large egg
• 1 tsp. vanilla

Get Started Making Peanut Butter Blossoms

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Unwrap the Hershey kisses and set on a plate. I found some milk chocolate kisses, so I'm using some of those, too.

Mix Ingredients for Peanut Butter Blossoms

Place the flour in a medium bowl. Add the baking soda and the salt, and whisk to combine. Set aside.

Place the softened butter in a large mixing bowl. Add the brown sugar and the regular sugar. Beat with an electric mixer until fluffy. Add the peanut butter, and mix well.

Next add the egg and the vanilla, and beat with the electric mixer. Add half of the flour, and beat until incorporated. Then add the remaining flour, and beat until it forms a soft dough.

Bake Cookie Dough

Form the dough into 1-inch balls and place 1 inch apart on an ungreased baking sheet or one that is lined with a silpat mat. Bake 8-10 minutes.

Add a Chocolate Kiss

Remove from the oven, and immediately press a Hershey kiss into the center of each peanut butter cookie.
