Do you have a dream job in mind? One you’d do for free if you could? Many of us would love to know what that job is, so we can begin to build a path to get there, and become more satisfied in our career and our life.

Figuring Out Your Dream Job

So here are some questions to ask yourself, to get that important process started:

1. When in your life did you feel truly happy? You weren’t looking at the clock, you weren’t wondering about life, you were just happy.

2. What are your natural skills? We all have a lot of skills, but there are some that we employ so much easier than others.

3. Who do you like to work with? Do you like to work with really confident people, really loud people, really outgoing people, or perhaps people who are a little bit quieter?

4. Where do you like to work? Do you like to work in an office, a really big busy one, or do you actually like being out and about, working with customers?

More Questions to Ask Yourself to Determine Your Dream Job

5. Is there a cause involved? Perhaps a charity or an environmental cause that you feel really passionate about?

6. How much money are you making in your dream job? Are you filthy rich, or are you just really making enough to be happy?

7. How many hours are you working? Are you working through the weekend and every hour in between, or are you able to work from a 9 to 5, and then be able to get home and spend time with your family?

These are the important questions you can ask, to start to figure out what that dream job really is.
