Hello, my name is Dai Ishiguro for About.com.  Today I'm going to teach you what is Futomaki Sushi.

Futomaki "Fat' Sushi

Futo means fat or thick in Japanese.  Futomaki Sushi is a thicker version, fatter version of Maki Sushi.  So Maki Sushi usually you put one fish or one vegetable.  But Futomaki Sushi you put a bunch like five or six, like egg or tofu or vegetable.  You can put anything you want.  And you roll so it's going to be fatter and bigger.  You slice it and you need a big mouth to eat otherwise you have to cut it.

How to order at a restaurant in Japanese.  Futomaki Sushi Hitotsu Kudasai.
