Hello, my name is Dai Ishiguro from About.com. Today I'm going to teach you how to say, "I love you" in Japanese.
Learn "I Love You" in Japanese
"I love you," we say Aishiteru, "Ai-shi-te-ru," Aishiteru, "Ai-shi-te-ru," Aishiteru. The formal way of saying Aishiteru is "A-i-shi-te-ma-su." Aishitemasu. That's a formal way of saying, "I love you." "A-i-shi-te-ma-su," Aishitemasu. And now I'm going to write "I love you." Here, on the first Aishiteru, "A-i-shi-te-ru." "A-i-shi-te-ru," that means "I love you." Now, I'm going to write in Kanji, too. So "Ai," this is "Ai," then rest of "shiteru" is here. Aishiteru, Ai shiteru is kanji. This one means I love you.
