Prepare Garlic for Roasting

Place the garlic on a square of aluminum foil with the exposed cloves facing up. Drizzle a little bit of olive oil over the garlic, and then wrap the aluminum foil tightly around it.Begin Roasting Garlic
Place the package in the oven and bake it at 450 degrees for about an hour. When it is done, the garlic should be soft to the touch. Remove the garlic from the oven and let it cool until you are able to handle it.Using Roasted Garlic
To use the roasted garlic, simply remove the cloves from the head, and squeeze out the paste that is inside. This is perfect for spreading on bread or using in recipes such as mashed potatoes.I hope you enjoy this simple and delicious way for preparing garlic.
