Transcript:Quick Tip: Use iMessage on an iPhone
Hi this is Frank Bayless for About.com and this is a quick tip on how to use iMessage in an iPhone.
Turning on iMessage
The first thing you want to do is go to your settings and scroll down to messages. Once you're in messages you want to turn on iMessage.
Receiving iMessages
Next you want to scroll down to receive that and and the phone number and email address associated with your Apple ID. Once you're done doing that go back to the iMessage screen and make sure you dress them MMS messaging is turned on in your group messaging is turned on.
Composing a New iMessage
Next you want to go to your messages app and compose a new message. You want to send a message to somebody else who has an iOS device with iMessage activated on it and you will know this by the blue send button.
