Hi, this is Christopher Berrien for About.com, and today we're going to talk about do's for an internship resume.

Keep Your Resume Brief

When writing your resume, do keep it brief. Choose your information well and try not to go over two pages, if possible. Consider a resume as a career summary. Do scan for typos and other problems. Do include all your current contact information at the top. Do use crisp, white paper in a nice, heavy bond. Presentation is important!

Information on Your Resume

Do stress accomplishments that directly relate to your career and the job you want. It's fine to tailor your resume to a desired position. Do use action verbs and the active voice. An example might be, "Programmed databases for extensive nationwide shipping system." That makes you sound in charge.
