Hi and welcome, I'm Stefan Aschan for About.com Food. Today I'm going to show you how to prepare seasoned zucchini. It's such a simple and great recipe to make for any kind of main course.

Seasoned Zucchini Ingredients

For the seasoned zucchini, you need the following:
  • a zucchini
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon dill
  • 1 tablespoon thyme

Chop the Herbs and Zucchini

First, chop the herbs. Take the parsley, dill, and thyme, and chop them into thin pieces.

Next you're going to take the zucchini, and as you have done before, slice as a half and then into small pieces. Not too thin, not too thick - right in the middle.

Cook the Zucchini

Now, you're going to take the extra virgin olive oil and just pour it into the pan, and heat it up.

Now, just make sure you shake it nicely, and let it sit for about a few seconds before you shake the zucchini around again. When the zucchini gets a little golden brown like this, you're ready to add on the chopped herbs.

You can always double up the ingredients for however many people you would like to serve this side dish. And voila, ready to be served and eaten. Enjoy!
