Hi, I am Chef Evelyn Paul and today I'm going to show you how to make Pesto Spaghetti Squash with Mozzarella.Ingredients for the Spaghetti Squash With Mozzarella
You will need:- 1 medium spaghetti squash
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 3/4 cup of store-bought pesto sauce
- 4 ounces of mozzarella
- 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
Prepare the Squash for the Pesto Spaghetti Squash With Mozzarella
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. You will first need to prepare the spaghetti squash for cooking by pricking the squash all over with the fork. Place the squash in a baking dish and bake for one hour. Remove from the oven and let cool. When cool enough to handle, cut the spaghetti squash in half lengthwise with a serrated knife. Scoop out the seeds, then shred the pulp with the fork into spaghetti like strands.
Make the Pesto Spaghetti Squash With Mozzarella
Once the pan is heated, I am going to add my olive oil. Then I am going to add my spaghetti squash and saute for about one minute. Next, I am going to stir in my pesto sauce. I am going to stir until the mixture is cooked through. Then I am going to add four ounces of grated mozzarella and one quarter cup of Parmesan cheese. Once the cheeses are melted, I will spoon the mixture into the ramekin and serve hot. And that's how you make pesto spaghetti squash with mozzarella.
