Hi, I'm Scott for About.com. Today I have a few tips for you on preparing for a tailgate party from HomeCooking.About.com.Food Tips for Planning a Tailgate Party
To begin, prepare any food you want to bring ahead of time. Have it wrapped, packed and ready to roll. Make sure you have a plan to keep hot foods hot and cold foods cold. I suggest using separate coolers, one with ice for the cold items and one used only for hot items to help seal in the heat.Stick to finger foods if possible. If you want to bring items that need to be divided up into smaller portions, do it ahead of time and make sure they are cut into manageable pieces.
