Hi! I am Michelle, and I am here today as a Licensed Aesthetician to give you some tips on shaving your underarms.
Before You Shave Armpits
So first, you want to make sure your underarms are nice and wet. Any amount of moist and heat helps to loosen the hair follicles, so it comes out of your skin easier. Next, you're going to want to apply any type of shaving cream to your underarms. If you have sensitive skin, make sure you choose a shaving cream with less fragrance or you can even use a conditioner.
Tips for How to Shave Armpits
Make sure to wet the blade and to shave in the opposite direction of your hair growth. Make sure your blade is not dull as that will lead to irritating bumps on your skin. When you're ready, do not put too much pressure on the blade, or pull the skin. Softly shave in the opposite direction of growth as this may be tricky with your underarms, so you might need to shave side to side.
After You Shave Armpits
After you are done, apply a light coat of moisturizer to your underarms or area being saved. This will help you smooth your skin and lessen irritation. And those are tips for shaving your underarms.
