Transcript:How to Know Where Eyebrows Should Start

Hello! My name is Selyna Parker. I am an Aesthetician and Eyebrow Artist here at Norris of Houston Salon & Day Spa. Today we are going to determine where your eyebrows should start.

Tips for How to Find Out Where Eyebrows Should Start

First to determine where your eyebrows are going to start, you want to grab like an eyebrow pencil or maybe an eyeliner so that you can use lines as guidelines. So you are going to take your eyebrow or eyeliner and you are going to come to the corner of your nose and the corner of your tear duct, and you are going to measure. And then that's where your eyebrow should start.

Instructions for Figuring Out Where Eyebrows Should Start

So you are going to come up, straight, and draw a line as a guide. And then once you have marked one starting line, you are going to move to your other eye and, again, you are going to take your pencil to the corner of your nose, corner of the eye, and you are going to go straight up and draw another line, like so. And then you are going to tweeze everything in between those two lines. Okay. Now that we have our two lines drawn, like so, you want to come in with your tweezer.

Again, you want to hold your skin taut to alleviate some of the pain that's associated with tweezing. And you want to just kind of tweeze all the hairs that you see in the center of the brow, but not past the line. And that's how you determine where your eyebrows should begin.
