Transcript:How to Find a Good Brow Shape Based on Face ShapeHello! I am Selyna Parker. I am an Aesthetician and Eyebrow Artist here at Norris of Houston Salon & Day Spa. And we are here to talk today about how to find a great brow shape based on the shape of your face.
Tips for Finding a Good Brow Shape Based on Face ShapeLet's take Evelyn for example. She is in between a round and an oval. She does have kind of the rounded face, but what makes her a little bit more oval is the fact that her forehand is wider than her jaw. So when considering shaping Evelyn's brow, you would like to tone down the curviness and give a higher arch to make the face appear longer.
Face Shapes and Brow ShapesLet's say you are not a round or an oval like Evelyn, let's say you are a heart-shaped face. If you are a heart-shaped face, which means you have a wider forehead and a less prominent chin, you want to minimize sharp angles in your face and create curves with the rounded brow. Let's take long face; your cheekbones, forehead, and jaw are the same width, and you have a defined chin. You want a flatter brow shape with that type of face shape. And lastly, a square or angular face.
Additional Tips for Finding a Good Brow ShapeRounding eyebrows will help soften the sharp angles of your face, making it appear oval. And one of the final things to consider when talking about face shape in relation to your eyebrows is whether you have a low forehead or a high forehead. Remember ladies, when you have a low forehead, that mean keep your arch low, and if you have a high forehead, make sure to extend that arch out a little higher to kind of take away some width.
