Transcript: Whiten Teeth in Photoshop
Hi, I'm Don Schechter for About.com Computing. Today I'll show you how to whiten teeth in Photoshop.Choose a Photo
First open the photo you'd like to change. Go to 'image,' 'duplicate,' and close the original. Go to 'window,' 'arrange,' and select 'new window' for your file. This will open a duplicate of the window of the same page.Arrange the Windows
With one of the windows, zoom in close so you can see just the teeth. Set the other window to view at 100 percent. I'll move the windows so I can see both at the same time.Paint the Teeth White
Select the dodge tool from the toolbar. In the toolbar, select 'midtones' and set the exposure to 20 percent. Select a small, soft brush. Make sure that the brush is smaller than the teeth. Now carefully paint over the teeth with the dodge tool.Adjust the Teeth Whiteness
Too much brightness might make it look fake. If you over do it, go to 'edit, 'fade, dodge tool.' Or if you have a different version, go to 'filter,' 'fade dodge tool.'Thanks for watching. For more information, please visit us online at computing.about.com.
