Transcript:Quick Tip: How to Apply Dashed and Dotted Shapes in Photoshop
Hey - Mark Zamora for About.com here - showing you how to add dashed and dotted lines to shapes in Adobe Photoshop.
Select Photoshop Shape Tool
First select the shape tool, either oval or rectangle - make sure it’s on shape mode up here and set the stroke color. This is the color your dotted or dashed lines will be. Also be sure to set the size.
Choose Dashed or Dotted Stroke Style
Now right here is where you choose the stroke style and you’ll see it’s either dashed or dotted! Then, make shape and you’ll see it’s outline is dashed or dotted! Easy!
