Hi, I'm Chris Davis for About.com. Crooked images are easy to correct in Photoshop CS6. Let's review how.
As you start to edit your images you may com across some that aren't level. Now, a picture can be taken specifically off axis for effect. However, if your photo wasn't and you want to straighten it, it will only take a few mouse clicks to rectify.
Manually Straightening Images in Photoshop
In your tool bar select the crop tool. Drag out the crop which will give you crop lines to adjust to. Place your mouse just outside the cropping area until it changes into a curved arrow. Now click and drag, rotating the image manually until you are happy with the adjustment. Next, stretch out the crop to fill in as much of the image as possible. Hit Return. The image is straight.

However, there is an even faster way. Using the same crooked image I will again select the crop tool. Notice at the top in the tool option there is an option to straighten. Click it. Now find a piece of your image that has a straight line. A horizon often works; on this image I will use the bridge. Click and drag along the straight line. Release and Photoshop will correct the image. Hit the return key and you are done.
