Hi I'm Don Schechter for About.com Computing. Today, I'll show you how to import photos into Photoshop Elements.Open Photoshop Elements
- OPEN 'Photoshop Elements'
- CLICK 'View and Organize Photos' icon.
- CLICK 'File,' 'Get Photos,' or the 'Get Photos' icon in the toolbar.
Find Photos by Searching
- CLICK 'By Searching'
- CLICK 'Search'
- CLICK 'Select All' to import all files and folders, or HOLD the 'Ctrl' key and CLICK on specific files/folders
- CLICK 'Open'
Import Specific Photos to Elements
- CLICK 'From Files and Folders'
- HOLD the 'Ctrl' key and CLICK files/folders you want
- CLICK 'Open'
Import Photos From a CD/DVD
When you select photos from a CD/DVD, either click the box if you only want to view photos offline (requires the CD to view), or do not click the box, saving the photos to your computer.Thanks for watching. For more information, visit us online at computing.about.com.
