Transcript:Well-Known Shows in Las Vegas

Hi, I'm Michele Jaco for About.com and today I'm going to give you a quick overview of the best, long-running shows in Vegas.

Most Well-Known Shows in Las Vegas

First, let's begin with the Blue Man Group. Formed in New York in 1987, the Blue Man Group has entertained thousands with their bright blue faces and zany acts. In 2000 the group expanded to the Luxor in Vegas and now plays nightly at the Venetian.

Next is Mysteré. This is the first Cirque du Soliel show in Las Vegas. It premiered on December 25, 1993 at Treasure Island and it's been there ever since.

Here's a tip: Get to the theatre 30 minutes early, you'll be glad you did.

Other Well-Known Shows in Las Vegas

Now onto the Wynn and Le Reve. From any seat in the Wynn Theater you get a view of the more than 90 athletes and entertainers as they engage your imagination. Le Reve was the first production show to open at the Wynn Las Vegas.

If you like magic and comedy then you'll love Penn and Teller. The show opened in 2002 at the Rio and is still my favorite show in Vegas.

And finally, Jubilee at Bally's Las Vegas. This show opened in 1981 and is the longest running show in Vegas. It's showgirls and iconic Vegas costumes. It's also for adults.

And those are the best, long-running shows in Vegas. Order your tickets early and check each show's website for pricing.
