You've booked your trip to Las Vegas and you're looking forward to great gambling and some great food. Now there's no need to worry about finding a seat at a Blackjack table, but getting a dinner reservation is another story.

About Getting Reservations at Las Vegas Restaurants

Las Vegas has some of the very best restaurants in the world and some of the busiest. So here are a few tips to help you get that illusive reservation.

The first two are just common sense.

Basics for Getting Getting Reservations at Las Vegas Restaurants

One, make your reservation early. As soon as you book your air and hotel, make your dinner reservations. And two, try to book at non-peak hours.

But if you've arrived in Las Vegas without reservations, here are some ideas.

First, use the Concierge at your hotel to help you get a reservation. A good Concierge has contacts and may be able to pull a few strings.

Second, try to book in person. A restaurant is more likely to accommodate you when you're standing in front of them.

Third, be persistent. Just keep calling.

Fourth, be flexible. Change your plans to accommodate an opening in their schedule.

Fifth, use a booking service. Some charge a fee but some might be included as a service with your credit card company. So read your fine print.

And finally, just show up. Restaurants have cancellations all the time and you might just get lucky.

And those were some tips for getting a restaurant reservation in Las Vegas.
