Summer Weather in Las Vegas
Summer month are usually May through September with July normally the hottest month with an average high of 104 °F and an average low of 79 °F, and August is only slightly cooler. Vegas is the desert so humidity is very low, so these temperatures are actually quite comfortable for many.
Staying inside the pleasantly cool casinos, cafes, shopping malls, showrooms, movie theaters and swimming or lounging under an umbrella at the pool are the primary activities in Las Vegas during the Summer.
Tips for Traveling to Las Vegas in the Summer
Wear cool lightweight cotton clothing, short sleeve tops, loose fitting pants, shorts, capri pants, and comfortable cool breathable type shoes.
Here is a tip: During the Summer in Las Vegas it is essential that people remain well hydrated and re-apply a high SPF sunscreen often, or you may experience severe medical issues like heat stroke, or severe sun burning.
For the most part the weather in Las Vegas is what makes it such a great vacation choice.
