Transcript:Las Vegas Average Fall Temperatures

Hi I am Michele Jaco and today for About.com with Las Vegas average fall temperatures.

Las Vegas's Fall Season

Fall months in Las Vegas aren't very long  and only last from the last few days in September till late November.  The weather throughout the fall months is fairly pleasant and comfortable, sunny, and warmer in comparison to other parts of the US.

In Vegas in the Fall,  the average high temperature is around 67 degrees (F) and the lows are in the 40's (F)  at night.   If you plan on visiting in the fall, wear clothes you can layer and pack a sweater, sweatshirt or light jacket for the evening hours.

Fall Travel Tips in Las Vegas

Even though it’s Fall and pleasant weather, it is still  the Desert and the sun is still harsh in Las Vegas.  Don’t forget your sunscreen and even though the temperatures are low, you must keep your body hydrated, drink lots of water or gatorade to keep your electrolytes high.  If you feel dizzy or nauseated, the main cause may be due to de-hydration, so drinking too much alcohol with little or no water consumption is a big mistake and can ruin your vacation.

Knowing ahead of time what to wear and how to keep hydrated is key to having an enjoyable time in Vegas.
