When you think of Las Vegas you probably don't think of pizza, but after viewing these fantastic pizzerias you might even stop for a slice before hitting the blackjack tables.

Pizza Options in Las Vegas

Here are a few of my favorite places.

First La Cave at the Wynn. This fantastic eatery is home to some amazing flatbreads including my favorite the Filet, Caramelized Onions, Mushrooms, Blue Cheese Flatbread. It's one of the best things I've ever eaten.

Also in the Wynn is the Italian restaurant Strata. Open for dinner you'll find some unusual creations and some old favorites. The quality is outstanding and the level of service can be summed up in one word - Wynn.

More Pizza Options on the Las Vegas Strip

Now let's move down the strip to the Cosmopolitan for my final two pizza recommendations.

First, D.O.C.G. Located on the third floor and open for dinner, this restaurant was created by Scott Conant. Here you'll find the traditional, and I might say, the unusual. How about a pizza with eggs and truffles. Only at DOCG.

And finally my favorite pizza place in Las Vegas for so many reasons, Secret Pizza. For only $5 you can have what some say is the best pizza west of the Mississippi. I think it might be the best pizza anywhere. The only trick is finding the restaurant. There are no signs, no maître ds, and no fancy menus. Just a simple unmarked door leading to maybe the best pizza on earth. OK, I'll give you a clue. Secret Pizza is on the 3rd floor near D.O.C.G . and next to Jaleo. Just look for the unmarked door and enjoy.
