Hi I’m Stephanie Zimmer for About.com and I’m here at the Mercedes-Benz Star Lounge and I’m going give you an inside look at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

When is Fashion Week?

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City happens twice a year, once in September and once in February. Both are the fashion industry’s biggest events of the year. Designers come from all over the world to introduce their latest collections.

Who Attends Fashion Week?

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week is an opportunity for the magazine editors, buyers, celebrities and all important industry-related people to see the latest trends and styles for the upcoming season. The week is filled with happenings – from glamorous fashion shows and VIP lounges sampling the latest products, to exciting after parties and musical performances.  The average Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week attendee can expect to have his/her days and nights packed with things to do.

What are the Days and Nights at Fashion Week Like?

The average day will start with several fashion shows at Lincoln Center.  He/She may spend her in-between time tweeting the trends, siting celebrities or taking shots of fashionable people onsite. If you’re lucky enough to receive access, The Mercedes-Benz Star Lounge offers VIPs the perfect place to relax and enjoy some much needed hospitality in between shows.

If you get a second wind, the nights are filled with different industry events, socializing and partying.  It is a full week of fun and excitement that the fashion industry craves continuously season to season.
