Check for Stains on Your Attic Floor or Ceiling
This is important, because you don't want ruin insulation or the joices in your attic. When check for roof leaks in your attic, one of the easiest ways is to look for stains on your ceiling, on your joices, or on your floor. This will allow you to know exactly where the water is coming in.
Check for Sagging Insulation
Another thing to look for is sagging insulation. A lot of time the insulation will collect all the moisture and pool it to one spot. This can cause it to slowly sag down and all of a sudden just burst open. It is important to fix water leaks early, because that water sitting there stagnant in your attic can cause roof rot, mold, and all sorts of things.
