Transcript:Sunny Day Cocktail

Bonjour! I'm Debra Weber for About.com Food, and today we're going to learn how to make a Sunny Day. This refreshing cocktail comes to you directly from France.

Sunny Day Cocktail Ingredients

To make a Sunny Day, you're going to need:
  • some ice
  • a tall glass
  • 4 ounces of grapefruit juice
  • 1-1 1/2 ounces of Benedictine
  • just a small splash of grenadine

Mix the Cocktail

To make a Sunny Day, fill your glass about halfway with some ice. Add your one to one and a half ounces of Benedictine, your four ounces of grapefruit juice, and finish with a little splash of grenadine. The grenadine will sink to the bottom and give you a lovely blush color at the bottom of your glass.

Et voila, a Sunny Day. Thanks for watching. To learn more, visit us on the Web at food.about.com.
