Transcript: No-Sew Curtains
Hi, I'm Karla Dehncke and welcome to About.com. You never know what you're going to find at flea markets and yard sales. They can provide an economical choice to home improvement and decoration. One great idea is what you can do with old sheets or linens. Flea market and yard sale guide, Jace Shoemaker-Galloway recommends turning old sheets or linens or even a tablecloth into no-sew curtains.
No-Sew Curtain Supplies
For this project you will need:- old linen, sheets, or tablecloths
- decorative curtain rods with clip on hooks
- ropes, ribbon, garland, or lace decorative tie backs
Measure the Windows
Before you do anything, you need to know the measurements of your window. Select your linen piece to fit - flat sheets and tablecloths work really well for this.Hang the No-Sew Curtains
Begin to clip your sheet, linen or tablecloth to the decorative rod with clip-n hooks. Look how easy that is. Once it’s all clipped on, you're ready to hang and add new life to tired windows. As a final touch, tie it back with your choice of decorative rope, ribbon, garland, or laceThanks for watching. To learn more, visit us on the Web at About.com.
