Pop-ups can be an annoying distraction when you're surfing the web and thankfully most browsers do a good job of blocking them. However, sometimes temporarily allowing pop-ups is a necessity. Here's a quick step-by-step guide on how to do that in Internet Explorer.
Allow Pop-Ups in Internet Explorer
Begin by going into the tools menu and click on "Internet Options." Then click on "Privacy." To disable all pop-ups, uncheck the the "Turn On Pop-Up Blocker" box. If you want to just disable pop-ups for one site, click on "Settings." Then enter the URL of the site which you would like to allow. Then click "Add." And finally close the window by clicking "Ok."
Remove the Pop-Ups in Internet Explorer
If you allow pop-ups for a site and then want to remove them later, simply go back to the setting screen and click on the URLs that you want to enable the pop-up blocker for and click "remove." Then click "OK" to close the window and your pop-up blocker will be enable once again.
