Ball Park Food Costumes for Kids

There are lots of costumes you can choose from. For ball park fare, you can go with a Hot Dog which is one of the most popular choices in food wear.

For a counter part to the hotdog costume you can dress up as a slice of pizza. It will be fun for the kids to dress up in their favorite foods. They will give "you are what you eat" a whole new meaning.

Take into account the individual when choosing food costumes. Some may not be as fitting. For example, a hotdog costume may come down too long on shorter children, if you couldn't find one small enough. In that case, a pizza slice would be a better choice.

More Food Themed Costumes for Kids

If you want a healthier theme, your kids could easily go as two yellow bananas. Or you could be more humorous and pair a banana with a fly. It wouldn't be a picnic without a pesky fly. 

Sometimes a food costume doesn't even have to be food. A chef and lamb can be a good choice. 

And if your little girl insists on being a cute little lamb have the chef turn her into lamb chops.

These  costumes will work for a duet, but you can have more or less in you group and add other costumes.

You can purchase these costumes or make them yourself. If you're going for a realistic look, you can paint the face and other exposed areas to match the costume. With a little imagination you can bring your kids favorites foods to life and have fun doing it.
