 Hi! I'm Jean Chandler from Leesburg Pet Center in Leesburg, Florida. My husband Wayne and I have had pet store since 1979 and I'm going to show you how to buy hamster supplies.

Pick a Hamster Cage

You can choose from a variety of cages depending on your budget and how much space you have. The hamsters need good quality food, they need freshwater and want good water supply. They need toys, they need exercise equipment. Well, you can spend anywhere from $30 up to $70 or $80 depending how elaborate setup you want to do.

We have basics hamster's setups that just have the necessities. There are condos that you can buy and you can add on as you wish or to add new hamsters to the environment. For cages, you can choose from a 10 galloon aquarium with this green top. You can choose from a wire cage, you can choose from the plastic cages that add on multiple layers and have all kinds of exercise equipment in them.

Hamsters Need Nesting Materials and Toys

Hamsters love to make beds, their own nest, you can give them nesting material and watch them shred it and design it the way they want. There are chew toys that they can chew on. There are hanging containers that you can put things in. Make them work for their food and that's how to buy hamster supplies.
