When booking talent and entertainment for your event, you want to make sure it actually complements the event that you're working on. If it's a wedding, is this the proper wedding band? Do they want a jazz band? Do they want an electric blues band? You really need to keep the client's interests in mind. When hiring a speaker or comedian, you want someone with excellent stage presence.Schedule a Run-Through Before the Event
It's probably a good idea to have a run through prior to your event, close to the day of the event - this way you can check for things that might go wrong, and prepare for them.
