Transcript:How to Make a Candy Bar Baby Shower Favor

Hi! My name is Kimberly Van Diepen and I am a Stampin Up! Demonstrator here to show you today this wrapped candy bar baby favor. So let's get started.

What You Need to Make a Candy Bar Baby Shower Favor

You are going to start off with a 6x6 sheet of Craft Card Stock and you are going to score it down the center at 3 inches.

Now, after you do that, you are going to want to cut from here to just down to the center point, about an inch-and-a-half. We are going to take that piece and we are going to actually fold it down. Next, just fold over the paper and, again, give it a nice score. Then I am going to take a scallop border punch and I am just going to border right across using this punch to give it a nice edge. Now, to secure this in place, I am going to use some red sticky strip. I am going to put that right over here on this edge and use some scissors to cut. We are going to take the red sticky strip off and then just fold it over. Now, using some adhesive I've just taken some coordinating pattern paper and I am going to put that right under here. Next, I am going to take my piece of ribbon and I am going to wrap that around and tie it in a bow. Once you secure your bow down, go ahead and trim your ends to make them look nice.

The next thing we are going to do is we are going to stamp our sentiment. We are going to use some chocolate ink and we are going to use a piece of scrap paper. We are going to stamp thank you, and we are going to use the modern label punch and just come in nice and close and punch that. Now, to make this pretty I am just going to make a split right at the end and I am going to use my whole punch right at the top and create the hole. And the last step to make this project is to use a safety pin. Safety pin your sentiment right onto your bow. And that's how you make a candy bar baby favor
