Hi, I'm Shane Murphy, your technology guru for About.com. Today we'll show how to export your contacts list in Outlook.
How to Export Outlook Contacts
With Outlook open, click on "file," then "import and export." Highlight "export to a file" and click Next.
Select "Comma Separated Values" and click next. Now, highlight the Contacts folder and click Next.
Save the Export File
Use the browse function to name and select a suitable place to save the file, such as your desktop.
Click next when ready, then finish and the .csv file will save to your chosen location.
