Hi, I’m Shane Murphy, your technology Guru for About.com. Today we’ll review how to block a sender in Gmail.Create a Filter
Start by clicking on “create a filter” at the top by your search box. In the “From” field type in the email address you’d like to block, or you can type in a domain to block everything from any address sent under that domain. Now click “Next Step”.In the displayed list of options, click the box for “Delete it” then “Create Filter”. All of the mail from this sender will now automatically forward to your trash.
Undoing this Action
To change or delete this filter, simply click settings in top right, then click the filter tab to see the control options for all of your created filters.Check out About.com’s dedicated email pages for more useful information on customizing your email accounts.
