Hi, I’m Shane Murphy, your technology Guru for About.comToday we’ll show how to customize your Gmail user interface.
Customize Labels
First direct your attention to the labels column on the left. Here you can manage and customize your existing labels or create a new label for your mail.How to Edit Chat Features
Directly underneath this you can edit the Chat features. Click “options” for a drop-down menu that will allow you to change the size of your chat list, among other things.Other Customization Options
Your other settings for customization reside in the “settings” in the top right.Under the “general” tab, you can change the number of conversations that appear per page.
Under the “Labels” tab you can choose which labels will appear on the side without having to click the drop down menu.
