Hi this is Andrew Hyland for About.com and this is a quick tip on how to use the zoom tool in in design.
Where to Find the Zoom Tool in InDesign
The zoom tool can be accessed on your left-hand side or by pressing Z on your keyboard. To use the zoom tool all you need to do is click on any area of the screen to zoom in. To zoom back out hold down the option key which will give you a minus sign on the magnifying glass. You can also use the scroll feature on your mouse to zoom in and out while holding down the option key.
Keyboard Shortcuts in InDesign
Some handy keyboard shortcuts while using the zoom tool are command one on Mac or control one on windows to zoom in 100%, command two on Mac or control two on windows to zoom in 200%.
