Grand Theft Auto: Vice City follows the story of Mafia hitman Tommy Vercetti, as he slowly takes over Miami-like Vice City. Weapon cheats can be entered in game or on the menu screen and work the same on both the PC and Mac versions of the game.

The code "thugstools' adds a set of light weapons to your inventory, including the baseball bat, molotov cocktails and the flamethrower. For a set of medium weapons, enter the code "professionaltools', which spawns weapons such as the katana, grenades and the rocket launcher. To unlock a set of heavy weapons, enter the code "nuttertools' and weapons such as the chainsaw and minigun will appear in your inventory.
To give Tommy some body armor, enter the code, 'preciousprotection.' If you need a quick boost of health, just type in, ‘aspirine'.
