Hi, I’m Josh from Annie’s Cafe & Bar in Denver Colorado. I’m here for About.com to show you how to make 5 of the top shooter cocktail drinks.

Washington Apple Shooter

To get started, I’m going to show you how to make a Washington Apple shooter. You’ll need: 1/3 oz Crown Royal whiskey, 1/3 oz Sour apple schnapps, and 1/3 oz of cranberry juice. To begin, pour 1/3 oz of whiskey into a shaker packed with ice. Now add 1/3 oz of sour apple schnapps. Pour in 1/3 oz of cranberry juice. Shake well. Strain into a shot glass.

Prairie Fire Shooter

Now, I’m going to show you how to make a Prairie Fire shooter. You will need: 1 oz tequila and a couple drops o of the hot sauce. You are ready to serve.

Kamikaze Cocktail

Next, I’m going to show you how to make a Kamikaze shooter. You will need: 2 oz vodka, 1/2 oz orange liqueur, a splash of lime juice, and a lime wedge to garnish the drink. To get started, pour the 2 oz of vodka into an ice-filled shaker. Add 1/2 oz orange liqueur. Pour in the a splash of lime juice. Shake well. Strain into a shot glass. Add the lime wedge for garnish.

Mind Eraser Shooter

Next I’m going to how you how to make a mind-eraser. You will need: 1 oz vodka, 1 oz coffee liqueur, soda water, and a lime wedge. Pour 1 oz vodka into a rocks glass filled with ice. Add 1 oz of coffee liqueur. Now pour in the soda water. Add a couple straws, garnish with a lime and serve.

Japanese Sex Cocktail

Finally I’m going to show you how to make a Japanese Sex shooter. You will need: 1/2 coconut rum, 1/2 oz melon liquor, and a dash of pineapple juice. Pour 1/2 coconut rum into a shaker filled with ice, now add 1/2 oz of melon liquor. Pour in a dash of pineapple juice. Shake very well. Strain into a shot glass and serve.
