Transcript: Salty Swede Recipe

Hi, I'm Sheree from Good World Bar & Grill in New York City for About.com Food. Today I'm going to show you how to make a Salty Swede.

Salty Swede Ingredients

To make the Salty Swede, you'll need:
  • 2 ounces Absolute pear vodka
  • 1 ounce triple sec
  • 1 ounce sweet and sour mix
  • 2 ounces soda water
You'll also need Hawaiian red sea salt to rim the glass and a few squeezes of fresh lemon.

Combine the Salty Swede Ingredients

First, you'll need to take a lemon around the glass and rim the glass with red sea salt. Fill the glass with ice.

In a shaker filled with ice, add your ingredients: Absolute pear vodka, triple sec, sweet and sour mix, soda water, and a squeeze of fresh lemon.

Shake, and strain into a rocks glass. Garnish with a fresh lemon wedge. That's how you make a Salty Swede.
