Transcript:How to Make a Gin Toddy
Hello, my name is Amanda Hertzler and I am a mixologist at the St Julien Hotel & Spa in Boulder, Colorado and today I am here for About.com to show you how to make a gin toddy.
The gin toddy is an excellent cocktail to make especially around the holidays; it's a great drink to come in and warm up to.
Mix Gin with Simple Syrup
To begin with, you are going to add a 1/2 teaspoon of sugar into your lowball glass and then you are going to add two tablespoons of water.
Serve the Gin Toddy with Lemon Garnish
Once you are done with that, you are going to add two ounces of gin and then you add one ice cube. You then garnish with a lemon twist and there's your gin toddy.
