Transcript:Cheers and Chants for a Team Comeback
Hi, I'm Greg Gilbert, head coach at Seton Hall University. We're here at Central Jersey All Stars in Kenilworth, NJ. Today we're going to show you cheers and chants for a team come back.
Foundations of Cheers for Cheerleading
Just a couple tips before that about cheering in general. Tip number one, make sure you have good motion placement. You don't want to go out there looking a mess.
Tip number two, you want to make sure your voice is loud and that you bring it up and down. Have a little bit of inflection. If your monotone the crowds not going to want to follow you.
Number three is the pace. It is very, very, very important that it's not too fast because your going to be muffled especially with sounds bouncing off the walls.
And last but not least, is energy. No matter what your doing on the floor as a cheerleader you need to be energetic.
Cheers to Motivate a Comeback
These are important not only to motivate the team, but also to motivate the fans to stay involved in the game. First one is Fight Hall Fight.
Fight Hall Fight Blue White Fight Hall Fight. Blue last time White Fight Hall Fight.
The second cheer we have is short and sweet to get the crowd pumped up. It's called Go.
G O Let's Go. G O Let's Go. Last time. G O Let's Go.
Third one we have is called Fight. This encourages the team to really push and get back into the game.
Fight Pirates Fight. F I G H T Fight Pirates Fight. F I last time G H T Fight Pirates Fight.
