Hi, I'm Shane Murphy, your technology Guru for About.comToday we'll look at some of the best phones out there that utilize USB connectivity. USB connectivity for phones opens up a whole world of options for customizing your mobile and using it as a media device with your computer. Everything from sharing music and videos, syncing contacts and address books, to tethering for wireless access.

USB Connection Phones: Samsung Propel Pro

The Samsung Propel Pro is a good place to start if you're looking for a dependable phone will a full QWERTY keyboard that will handle all of your USB connectivity essentials. The Propel can store and playback virtually every kind of media offloaded from your computer and synch with your Outlook account for push email service. Better yet, this phone will only set you back $100 or so without a plan.

USB Connection Phones: LG Voyager

If you're looking for an inexpensive touchscreen solution, check out the LG Voyager, another $100 phone that also flips out for a QWERTY keyboard. The Voyager features all of the standard USB connectivity perks of sharing media, but also has an expanded set of options for messaging and web browsing.

USB Connection Phones: Nokia N95

The Nokia N95 is a slickly designed phone that takes advantage of its powerful touchscreen and processor to deliver a more robust media and gaming experience to its users. For around $150, you get a phone that will take stunning pictures, support tons of different video formats, function as a viable replacement to your mp3 player, and provide all of the media sharing and email contact synching you need across a USB cable. The ultimate use for your phone's USB connectivity is as a tethered modem. All this power will cost you, though; even with a two year contract, the Bionic rings in at $300!
