Hi I'm Nick Jaynes from DownForce Motoring for About.com, this is the 2011 Audi Lineup.
Facts About the 2011 Audi Lineup
It still has the 4.2-liter V8, which now produces 372-horsepower and 328-foot-pounds. And it'll take you from 0-60 in, well, let's find out6 seconds! That's really quick for a car the size of a destroyer!
2011 Audi A8
The A8 is the only car in its segment which offers all-wheel-drive as standard. Audi's Quattro takes this German land ship to a whole other level. The grip is just insatiable. Even with the traction control off, the A8 feels glued to the road. It's as if Audi has summoned the hand of god to push it against the road.
More About the 2011 Audi A8
Audi has refined the face of the A8 for 2011. They've extended the chrome grille and massaged the lines making it look more menacing. One of my favorite features of the A8 is the adaptive air-ride suspension. You can raise and lower the car.
Once you've found a setting you like, it's time to indulge in all the other toys the A8 offers. Jeremy Clarkson once called the interior of the Range Rover the greatest on the planet. I contend that the A8 has taken the cake. This one has been specifically fitted with the Bang and Olufson speaker system. But my favorite feature of all I have to admit is the massaging seats. You hit the little button on the side, you arrow up and down, you select if you want wave, knocking, stretch, lumbar, shoulder.
Audi's MMI System
Now that I've got the back massagers going and a little more comfortable I can tell you about Audi's redesigned MMI system, which is their control center system. There is a joystick but smartly there are quick-jump buttons. Unlike BMW's iDrive, you're not relegated to a single-point interface. You can do it digital interface here if you'd like, you can jump through everything or quickly jump to navigation there, telephone there, info there or you can play with all your climate control settings up here.
2011 Audi Q5
For 2011, the Audi Q5 2.0T quattro joins the lineup, powered by the acclaimed 2.0 TFSI® turbocharged direct injection inline four, which produces 211 hp and a remarkable 258 lb-ft of torque. Thanks to direct injection technology and turbocharged efficiency, the 2011 Audi Q5 2.0T quattro is able nevertheless to achieve a class-leading 20/27 mpg (city/hwy).
More Facts About the Audi Q5
With a bold, Single frame grille and sculpted headlights, the 2011 Audi Q5 quattro is unmistakably Audi. Strong fender arches define the SUV profile and offer a subtle hint at the power within. A sleek roofline and integrated body rails help the Audi Q5 quattro to maintain its class-leading 0.33 drag coefficient, which improves fuel economy and reduce wind noise inside the cabin.
