Hi, I'm Nick Jaynes from DownForce Motoring for About.com. Welcome to the 2011 Acura lineup.

For 2011, Acura offers seven models ranging from an affordable sedan to a full-sized SUV. This is their newest model: the TSX Sport Wagon. Based upon Acura's segment-leading TSX sedan, the Sport Wagon offers SUV-style utility with the performance of sports car.

Profile of the 2011 Acura TSX

The TSX Sport Wagon is fitted with a 2.4-liter inline four-cylinder engine producing 201 horsepower, bolted to Acura's 5-speed automatic transmission. Acura has a knack for marrying fuel efficiency and horsepower. This one is no different; achieving an EPA estimated 22MPG city and 30MPG on the highway.

Don't let the four-cylinder engine deter you, adrenaline junkies. This one goes like the best of them. For those of you who think wagons are stodgy, grocery-getters, the TSX wagon might change your mind. Acura prides itself on building well-bred suspension systems. They're sporty and firm, but also elegant and forgiving. Look how it takes this corner.

A station wagon so good it'll peel away the memories of wood paneling from you mind. Try that in your County Squire! Actually, no. Don't. Don't do that. Ugh. You'd die.

For 2011, Acura has revamped their TSX interior as well. The upgrades include a new center console, a climate controlled center cargo area, and contrasting-color stitching for the leather seats, which just looks gorgeous.

The TSX Sport Wagon has 60 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats down, which is huge for a road-hugging wagon like this.

2011 Acura MDX Profile

But if you're in the market for a larger all-wheel-drive family hauler, Acura's got you covered. With their benchmark SUV, the 2011 MDX, Acura combines style, power and luxury.

The MDX comes equipped with Acura's technologically advanced Super Handling All-wheel drive system and a 300 horsepower 3.7-liter V6 engine, both of which are available on most 2011 Acura models.

The MDX showcases Acura's high-end luxury features including Adaptive Cruise Control, and blind spot information system. Acura prides itself on creature comforts. The MDX has satnav with voice recognition, traffic and weather alerts, and a rear-view camera with three view choices.

Compare the 2011 Acura TSX and MDX

Though quite different, the TSX Sport wagon and the MDX are excellent examples of the versatility, engineering prowess, and build quality of the 2011 Acura lineup.

As a relatively young luxury brand, the 2011 Acura lineup is quite impressive and remains highly competitive in the marketplace.
