Deciding to Quit Your Job
The decision to quit your job is a big one, and should not be made without really thinking it through. The decision should be based on some deeper reasons and not just because it sounds like a good idea to change things up a little bit in life.
5 Reasons to Quit Your Job
So here are 5 really good reasons to quit your job, if that’s on your mind these days.
First of all, to find a better one. That sure sounds good, doesn’t it? You might look internally, you might look externally, outside your company, but that’s a big one.
Number two, you might want to start your own company. Exciting news for you and your family, but you’ve got to think that one through.
Number 3 is to escape a bad boss. We’ve all had a bad boss, and this is a big one for a lot of us.
Number 4, if you’d like to change your industry, like moving from pharmaceuticals to health care, or your function, maybe you’re tired of marketing and you’d love to get into the sales field.
Number five, if you truly feel like there’s no opportunity for advancement at your company, then you should definitely be thinking about leaving. But please think it through to avoid an impulsive decision. That way, once you have decided to leave, you can do so with all the confidence in the world.
