Transcript:Easy Apple StuffingHi! I'm Rachel Edelman for About.com Food. Today I'm going to show you how to make apple stuffing.
Apple Stuffing IngredientsFor this recipe, you will need:
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 2 cans of condensed chicken broth
- 16 oz. package of seasoned stuffing
- 2 c. chopped apples
Soften the VegetablesPlace a Dutch oven on the stovetop over medium high heat. Place the butter in the pan and let it melt. Next add the onions and celery to the saucepan. Let them cook until they are tender, for about 2-3 minutes.
Add the BrothNow add the broth to the saucepan. Heat until it comes to a boil.
Mix in the Stuffing and ApplesRemove the pan from the heat. Pour in the stuffing, then the apples. Mix the ingredients together well.
Cook the Apple StuffingCover the pan and place it in the oven and cook for 30 minutes. Use the stuffing for a turkey or serve on the side. Enjoy.
