Hello I'm Kacie Marie and this is About.com. Are you sick of emptying your piggy bank just to look glamorous? I'm going to show you today how to do glamour makeup on a budget. You don't need to buy a ton of products. Just get yourself a nice basic makeup kit and you can expand the variety into whatever glamour makeup you'd like.

Seek Out the Sales

I find all of my glamour needs for less than $50. It's often better to buy multiple products at the same time. Keep your eyes out for the sale. There may be two for one, even seasonal prices. When you're in the makeup aisle, take a few extra minutes, think over your list and find those sales. Just because a product is more expensive, does not necessarily mean it performs better. Cheap makeup can be just as good. Sometimes you can find name brand products online, from stores like eBay. Just make sure to check the customer rating from the website in which you're buying from.

Two for the Price of One

You can find all your makeup on a budget- you just have to look. For example, I have this eye shadow. It has two tones in it-The options are endless. For five dollars at the convenient store, I found this palette of sparkles. This mascara I found online for five dollars. I dug up this red lipstick in a summer sale.

Apply Eye Shadow and Sparkles

I'm going to start with my two tone eye shadow. I take the lighter purple and apply it over my entire lid. I'm also applying the light purple to my bottom lid. Next I'm going to use my deep purple, put it in the crease of my eye and also in the corner. We're going to use our cheap palette of sparkles. I'm going to use some light pink and put a highlight right on the inside of your eye. You can use any sort of light tone you may have. Put it right underneath your eyebrow. This helps define your eyebrows.

Apply Mascara

Next we have our mascara. We're going to apply from root to tip. Put as much mascara as you'd like. The more mascara, the more glamorous. You can concentrate on making it thick in the corner, making your eyes look wide open.

Finish the Look with Lipstick

For the final touch, cherry red lipstick. Follow the line of your natural lip. Put as much or as little as you want on. Now that you're glamorous, no one has to know how little you spent. For more information, go to about.com. Until next time!
