Transcript:What Is an Oval Face Shape?Hi! I'm Jenece Amella, makeup artist and owner of StylesbyJenece.com in Denver, Colorado. Today's topic is the oval-shaped face and we have Dalini who has managed to get it perfect.
You Can Play Up Any Feature With an Oval Face ShapeSo this is the shape that we actually try to achieve with any other shape. And because Dalini has the ultimate-shaped face, which is the oval, which is what everybody tries to achieve, we can pretty much play up on any of her features.
So we're going to just go ahead and do a nice sun-kissed look on her face, basically heading where the sun would naturally kiss it. So the forehead, the cheeks, the nose, the chin and then you can blend it all the way down into the neck area, just so doesn't look so two-tone. So you are nice and even.
Natural Makeup Enhances an Oval Face ShapeThen we're going to add a nice lip color which is nice light shimmer, and what this does is help push the lips out just a little bit. Again, she can enhance any of her features, so we left everything pretty very, very natural, but you can see that just with that little bit of lip gloss it really punches that out a little bit -- gives it her a nice natural sun-kissed look with that nice oval face.
Hair Styles Should Frame an Oval Face ShapeThen we move into the hair, the hair because again, she is got the ultimate shape of the face, she can wear just the way she is got it, right down the middle and it frames her face beautifully. She can wear it back in a little ponytail she wanted to, she can wear it high up and she can also parted on the side, giving her a totally different look with still keeping that nice shape so beautifully.
