Creating a Flattering Hair Style for a Long Face

A long face is when we the face measures longer than it is wide. Plus a wider longer forehead and pointed chin makes for a long face. The most flattering hairstyles for a long face is to give a wispy bang, use palm aid for texture to the bang area, and also to use a round brush, curling iron or flat iron to give the hair a little body around the face, body to your layers. By doing this around the side we create a wider face. The most the flattering style for a long face would be a pieced, textured layering around the face. To do that we add a little bang to the hair, maybe a slight curl, and then in the bang use a texture product and piece it.

If wanting to do something a little more fun for this hairstyle, pin the hair half back with a little volume on the side, to create a rounder look, you want to avoid anything too flat on the sides and with too much volume on top to make a longer look. So here we have a flattering hair style for a long face, we curled our layering and tapered in slightly, added a little volume on the sides to give us a wider look for a long face, and we gave a really wispy texture to the bangs to break up the forehead and break up the length of the face.
